On August 16, 2024, the "Shenzhen-Los Angeles Economic and Trade Exchange Forum" co-organized by the Shenzhen Federation of the United States and the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce was successfully held in the Los Angeles Industrial City on the afternoon of the 16th local time.

The Entrepreneurs Alliance of the Shenzhen Federation of the United States was responsible for organizing the meeting. Ni Dong, Chairman of Decision, as the Executive Vice President of the Shenzhen Federation of the United States and Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Alliance, delivered a wonderful speech on behalf of Chinese and American entrepreneurs.
 

Through a rich agenda and diverse exchanges, this symposium has built a broader platform for economic and trade cooperation between Shenzhen and Los Angeles, bringing together about 220 political and business leaders, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars from China and the United States to discuss Sino-US economic and trade cooperation and investment opportunities.
 

At the beginning of the conference, Ye Dong, president of the Shenzhen Federation of the United States, delivered a welcome speech, expressing his high expectations for economic and trade cooperation between the two places. Ye Dong said: "This economic and trade exchange forum will definitely bring new opportunities and new successes, allowing us to help each other and achieve mutual success."
 

In his speech, Peng Jing, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, praised the symposium for providing an important exchange platform for the business communities of the two places. Peng Jing pointed out: "Although Shenzhen and Los Angeles are on both sides of the Pacific Ocean, thousands of miles apart, they have many similarities and are highly complementary. Both are vibrant global metropolises, both have the world's busiest large ports, and both have a good atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship. It is hoped that the two sides can further strengthen communication and exchanges, rely on their own advantages, deepen pragmatic cooperation in the fields of green ports, clean energy, cross-border logistics, culture, education and tourism, and contribute to promoting local exchanges between China and the United States."
 

Liu Junlin, executive vice president of the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce, promoted the business environment in Shenzhen, focusing on the advantages and business opportunities of Shenzhen as a global innovation center.

At the same time, President Liu also expressed his hope to establish a closer friendly exchange relationship with the Los Angeles business community, and said: "We will continue to provide full-factor guarantees and full-chain services for enterprises to invest in Shenzhen, and optimize the environment in all aspects."
 

Director He Yiming from the Shenzhen Longhua District Investment Promotion and Enterprise Service Center also gave a keynote speech on the business environment in Longhua District. Then, the guests watched the city promotional videos of Shenzhen and Longhua District to further understand Shenzhen's investment environment and economic development prospects.
 

Representatives from local government agencies and chambers of commerce in Los Angeles, including Joanne McClaskey, executive officer of the City of Industry Government Business Council, Luis Portillo, president of the San Gabriel Valley Economic Cooperation Organization, Ye Chun, a representative of Chinese companies, and Cai Chenghua, president of the Southern California Chinese Association, shared business opportunities in Los Angeles and Southern California from different perspectives.

During the meeting, many Chinese and American entrepreneurs were arranged to share their experiences. Ni Dong, chairman of Decision, delivered a wonderful speech as a representative of Chinese and American entrepreneurs.

Witnessed by all the guests, Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce signed a friendly cooperation agreement with the American Shenzhen Federation.
 

In addition, a number of Shenzhen companies have reached strategic cooperation agreements with their American partners.
